With a home building history and reputation for over 33 years, Helton Homes, Inc. of Raleigh, NC, is one of the most respected companies in the Triangle area. President Rick Helton now runs the award-winning company begun by his father and grandfather in 1972. Rick and his staff pride themselves in maintaining the level of excellence his predecessors achieved in producing quality homes. Born and raised in Virginia, Rick became Vice President of Helton Homes, Inc. in 1992 and in 1997 took over control of the company from his father, Carl Helton. Rick holds a degree from Virginia Tech University in Housing, Interior Design, and Resource Management, which provides a solid background in construction, design, and management principles. In addition to his general contractor's license, Rick is also a licensed real estate agent. Furthermore, Rick is included in the National Register's Who's Who in Executives & Professionals, registered at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. and is also a member of the Holly Springs Rotary Club.
aaaRick is the Co-Founder and Vice-President of People Helping People Southeast, Inc. People Helping People Southeast, Inc. is an organization created to help people who are in need of assistance with home repairs and who have no means of addressing those themselves, physically or financially.
Rick believes his success comes from the formula started years ago by his grandfather, Archie Helton, who told him, “When we started building, it was important, whether we build one, or 50 houses year, that we do the best job possible.” Today, this commitment to quality and excellence serves as the foundation for Helton Homes, Inc. Rick's reputation as a hometown builder, combined with his honest approach to business and personal relationships, has earned him the loyalty and respect of subcontractors, suppliers, and most importantly, his customers.
